Combining my love for Travel and Photography

My wife and I grew up behind the Iron Curtain, and perhaps because of that, we developed a deep curiosity about the world beyond our borders. Travel became more than a pastime for us — it was a way to experience the freedom, cultures, and perspectives we once could only imagine.
As our family grew, we made it a priority to take our children along on every journey we could. Whether near or far, each trip became an opportunity to explore together, create memories, and broaden our horizons. Somewhere along the way, they caught the travel bug too — and now share the same sense of wonder and adventure that first inspired us.

A few fragments from Allan's childhood

Who knows, maybe someday an adult Allan will be showing this page to his kids on some unthinkable quantum computer of the future...

Pencil

Hey, owner
Throw me away
I am only two inches
When I should be eight
My legs are only good for one more mistake...
Aaa! What are you doing
I need a wheel chair for God's sake.

Dancing (Haiku)

Men dancing in black
Women dancing in pure white
Dancing together

Heron

Heron Heron,
I hear you cry
Your cry is beautiful,
It is the song
Of thousand angels,
Heron Heron
I hear you cry
.

Stars

Stars are burning hot
Up high like a little dots
Stars are very still
Like a broken windmill
There are many different kinds of stars
Like the fast shooting stars
Venus and Mars
If I were one I would be proud
Because I would be so still and not loud

Never Know

You never know what you might get
You could get a jet that is a bright sun
You could get a pencil that is a banana
You could get a Saint Bernard that is a wolf
You never know what you can get

Zee

Zany zebras zoom zippy
In a zigzag
Making so much zest

Some remembrances from from Anthony's childhood

Not much, mostly his drawings, only what I've got my hands on so far...
